I took a HOME PATERNITY TEST. I tested my son and myself, no mother because I have no idea where she is. Now the results came back that I am 99.557% not excluded as the father. I'm not at all convinced that this test is correct because we didn't match in 2 sections. Do you have a similair experience with a home DNA test? No matter if it was good or bad.
I know that they are both used to kind of sort DNA and whatnot, but what's different?
If a paternity test states that the tested man might be 86% his biological father, I got the online kit at gtldna.com. Oh and by the way it says that 14 out of 15 genetic markers match. is it still possible for the other unrelated man to be the dad?
I am on a tour of duty in South Korea and could not take my family. My wife will have a baby in 3.5 months. I know of the leave program, allowing up to 10 days leave based on the commander's approval. I've also heard that for deployments this is not allowed to be taken. Because I'm not technically on a deployment but I'm still overseas, how does this paternity leave work for me?
DNA is very soluble in water. Which of the following parts of DNA is probably the most important for this property?
1. The oxygen atoms that are on the phosphate backbone.
2. The deoxyriboses that are part of the backbone.
3. The hydrogen bonds between the bases.
4. The nitrogen atoms in the bases that are not hydrogen bonded to the complementary strand.
if they are being mailed.
I was just wondering. I live in California I'm not sure if that matters but if anyone knows the answer to this or could direct me to a site I'd appreciate it. Once again I was wondering is it possible to receive the paternity test results over the phone rather than in the mail or in person or all three.
Thanks in advance for the help.

i heard about false positive, and false negative in dna testing, what is that. tried to look for explanation but did not find a specific one. some explain that could be the father but shows negative,or shows positive is but is not the father.
I live in the New York City area and I'm not trying to leave the state to further my education. I also wanna find good colleges for Forensics, Crime Scene Investigation, Social Work and Nursing. So far I got Hunter, John Jay, Adelphi and New York University in my mind....can you guys help me think of more college choices that would be good for these careers?
*Only New York colleges...thanks
