My husband had a DNA Test done and it came out that the child was not his. The ex swore just like the women on Maury that their was no one else. Know she thinks those test are not accurate. The DNA looks more accurate to me becuase it breaks down the numbers and 2 different swabs are tested twice.
Apparently, in the pre-DNA world, you could determine the paternity of a child by drawing blood from both the father and child, find their blood types, then confirm that the child could not possibly be the child of the alleged father. How is this done? Who can run this test?
Not sure how good a court appointed paternity test really is and there is some doubt as to how accurate they really are. So the question has come up to have a private company redo the test. But I was wondering what the cost of one really is. Looking to do a blood test not a swab test. Anybody have an idea and maybe a company to recommend. I live in California. Thank you.

IE, There is an accident--the father has a rare blood type and the hospital needs donors. The hospital asks his daughter to give blood. The lab determines her blood type is different. Is it possible to know she is not his biological daughter simply because she does not share his rare blood type--or that her blood type is not compatible with his? Or, does another form of blood test need to be done to prove paternity conclusively?
