ok my baby daddy had his twin take a dna paternity test instead of him showing our baby wasn't his because i'm smart and ordered a chain of custody which sends me his photo taken when test was done including all the info and come to find out it was his twin and not him!!!! how much trouble can he get for this and how do i retest

My husband has a 5 year old "son" who hasn't really been part of his life. There's been some question as to whether he was really his. I know he loves him, but considering his mother makes a lot more money than us, he pays for his other son and we had a new baby, he'd like a paternity test. (Also the "dad" has now found out about him and is trying to get involved) Do we contact the state or a lawyer? Who is responsible for the cost? Any advice would be great, thanks!
We live out of state. He's been paying the court ordered support (for 2 kids). Also, assuming the child isn't his, could he be reimbursed for the last five years?

As the title shows. I need to verify weather or not I am the father of a newborn that a woman claims I am. It is possibly true, on the other hand, it may be false. Is getting this done possible without getting a lawyer, she doesn't seem receptive to getting this done voluntarily. Why should I get a lawyer if I'm just going to end up getting a court-ordered standard child support payment plan if it is mine. Unless they can help lower my payments, I don't see what more they can do for me - just another expense. If they can help me in ways I can't accomplish myself, about how much would it cost?

Abraham Lincoln's DNA and Other Adventures in Genetics

i ask this because my baby daddy has alot of money and is his lawyer and him are bad people people the picture he took wasn't him but was someone else who took the dna test for him. what do i do? the court ordered us to do paternity but on the picture of him, it wasn't him but someone else

I have serious reasons to believe the baby may not be mine. Everyone else sees it too and says I should have a paternity test. I mean everyone. Realistically there's a 50/50 shot, but I need to know if I should go for joint custody or wash my hands of the whole mess. The more economical the solution the better as I am already a full time single father and full time student. Money is in short supply. Thanks for the advice.
I haven't signed anything but I believe she has listed me as the father. I haven't talked to her in several months but I know she is going to sue me for child support. If the baby is mine I will do what I have to do, but if not, I don't want to be responsible.
I would love to get a lawyer, but as I said, money is in short supply. I will miss many meals by going to court. If I have to, I guess I have to.
As far as the comment goes about keeping it in my pants, the ho... um... female in question is my ex wife. My daughter is from a previous relationship and her mother is in parts unknown. I can really pick em, huh?

My 19 month old son passed away. I want to know who his father was. The coroners office has his dna still and said i need to get a court order for them to release it for paternity testing. How would I go about getting this. Can I do this without contacting a lawyer. What forms would I need to fill out? I have no clue on how to go about doing this. Any info would be helpful.
