Can I not just get some sort of equipment and mix it all up myself? I found http://nature.ca/genome/05/051/pdfs/DNAextract_e.pdf but it only shows how to extract. I looked on www.telltips.com (that site lunched a day age) and it's not yet posted! I need to know... any help would be great!

I live in oregon and I had a paternity test done if proven the father I would like to have visitation and/or split custody the baby will be two in february 2008. I haven't been able to see the child and I was just notified of this August of 2006 and I am just worried that I may not get visitation rights does anyone know if I will be able to get visitation rights even though I haven't been in the childs life due to me not even knowing about the child until last year and if so where should I start.
im looking to buy a paternity test kit online but when i search on yahoo for them there are so many! some promise free shipping, others fast results, etc, etc...
my question is have you or anyone you've known used a particular site that was reliable? i dont want to get ripped off because most of the test run for 99 bucks.

and it doesnt need to be a test that i can use in court. its just for personal reasons.
Had my daughter and "her father" signed the paternity papers. Saw the son of a guy that i was seeing around the same time and the resemblance is unreal. Want to have the testing done with the boys father myself but not sure quite how to go about it. I don't want to pay a fortune but i want it to be legit.
Can anyone recommend a court worthy DNA paternity test company. I'm informed that the test must be 99.99% reliable, whatever that means.
My fiance and I of three years, are expecting. Two years ago he had a one night stand with a girl, who then said she was pregnant. When it came time for her to show, she "lost" the baby. We have had no contact with her, meaning him or I, at all since. Now that she has found out I'm pregnant she is claiming she is pregnant with his baby. Basically we do not want this stressing me out during my pregnancy so how hard is to obtain a court order for a prenatal paternity test?
