My fiance and I of three years, are expecting. Two years ago he had a one night stand with a girl, who then said she was pregnant. When it came time for her to show, she "lost" the baby. We have had no contact with her, meaning him or I, at all since. Now that she has found out I'm pregnant she is claiming she is pregnant with his baby. Basically we do not want this stressing me out during my pregnancy so how hard is to obtain a court order for a prenatal paternity test?
My ex boyfriend and I had sex, obviously, and I got pregnant. We went through a violent break up and I took a pregnancy test a week after I missed my period. I'm pregnant. When I tried to tell him he denied it and said I could "have fun proving it was his."
I was just wondering whats the earliest I could get a paternity test. It will have to be court mandated because the guy is a douche bag but whatever.
Thanks.
Say if he doubted a child is his can he get a test done or is it up to the mother? Does a man need a woman's consent?
Is it different for a child who is born and a pregnant woman's fetus? So the rights differ if it's a pregnancy and if it's after birth?
@pearl - no I'm taking about if a man wants to get a test done, can he get it done. I know women have all the rights already.
My daughter was pregnant when her boyfriend of 10 yrs died in a river rafting accident in June 3 yrs ago. Neither one of them knew of the pregnancy at the time. She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy only one day after her deceased boyfriend's birthday in September. A DNA test was done of the paternal grandparents, but was inconclusive. (paternal grandfather may not be the biological parent of the deceased). Should another DNA test be done on grandmother and other siblings?
